MATERIALS
Bernat Camouflage #10420 (Pink Camouflage) (100 g / 3.5 oz): 4 (4-5-5) balls
OR
(142 g / 5 oz): 3 (3-4-4) balls
Size 5 mm (U.S. H or 8) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge.

GAUGE: 16 sts and 16 rows = 4 ins [10 cm].

INSTRUCTIONS
The instructions are written for smallest size. If changes are necessary for larger sizes the instructions will be written thus ( ).

BACK
**Ch 54 (58-60-64).
1st row: (RS). 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook. *Ch 1. Miss next ch. 1 sc in next ch. Rep from * to end of ch. Turn. 53 (57-59-63) sts.
2nd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in first sc. *1 sc in next ch-1 sp. Ch 1. Rep from * to last ch-1 sp and sc. 1 sc in next ch-1 sp. 1 sc in last sc. Turn.
3rd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in first sc. *Ch 1. 1 sc in next ch-1 sp. Rep from * to last 2 sc. Ch 1. Miss next sc. 1 sc in last sc. Turn.
Rep last 2 rows of pat for 8 (9-10-11) ins [20.5 (23-25.5-28) cm], ending with a WS row. Fasten off.

Shape armhole:
With RS of work facing, miss first 6 sts. Join yarn with sl st to next st. Ch 1. Pat to last 6 sts. Turn. Leave rem sts unworked.**
Cont even in pat until armhole measures 6 (6½-7-7½) ins [15 (16.5-18-19) cm], ending with a WS row. Fasten off.

FRONT
Work from ** to ** as given for Back. Cont even in pat until armhole measures 2 ins [5 cm], ending with a WS row.

Front opening:
Next row: (RS). Ch 1. Pat across first 20 (22-23-25) sts. Turn. Leave rem sts unworked.
Cont even in pat until armhole measures same length as Back, ending with a WS row. Fasten off. With RS of work facing miss next st. Join yarn with sl st to next st and pat to end of row. Work as given for left side.

SLEEVES
Ch 28 (28-30-34).
Work 4 rows in pat as given for Back. 27 (27-29-33) sts at end of first row.
1st row: (RS). Ch 1. 2 sc in first sc. Pat to last sc. 2 sc in last sc. Turn.
2nd row: Work even in pat.
Rep last 2 rows to 37 (41-39-39) sts.
Next row: As 1st row.
Work 3 rows even.
Rep last 4 rows to 49 (53-57-61) sts.
Cont even until work from beg measures 10 (11-13-15) ins [25.5 (28-33-38) cm], ending with a WS row. Place marker at each end of last row. Work a further 6 rows even. Fasten off.

FINISHING
Pin garment pieces to measurements. Cover with a damp cloth, leaving cloth to dry. Sew 8 (10-11-13) sts for shoulders.

Hood:
With RS of work facing, join yarn with sl st to top right front corner. Ch 1. 1 sc in same sp as sl st. Pat across right front, (1 sc. Ch 1) 25 times across back. Pat across left front. Cont even in pat for 8 (8½-9-9) ins [20.5 (21.5-23-23) cm], ending with a WS row. Fasten off.

Sew top seam of Hood. Sew side and sleeve seams.
