MATERIALS
Bernat Soft Bouclé Stripes (140 g/5 oz) 6 balls of #26011 (Sienna Stripes).
Size 6 mm (U.S. 10) knitting needles. Size 5.5 mm (U.S. 9) circular knitting needle 24 ins [60 cm] long or size needed to obtain gauge.
GAUGE: 15 sts and 20 rows = 4 ins [10 cm] in stocking st.

INSTRUCTIONS
Note: For continuous stripes, join new ball of yarn at same point in color sequence where previous ball ends.
Square (make 20).
Cast on 1 st.
1st row: (RS). (K1. P1. K1) all in next st. 3 sts.
2nd row: (Inc 1 st in next st) twice. K1. 5 sts.
3rd row: Inc 1 st in first st. Knit to last 2 sts. Inc 1 st in next st. K1.
4th row: K1. Purl to last st. K1.
5th row: As 3rd row.
6th row: Inc 1 st in first st. Purl to last 2 sts. Inc 1 st in next st. K1.
Rep last 4 rows to 53 sts.

Proceed as follows:
1st row: (RS). K2tog. Knit to last 2 sts. K2tog.
2nd row: K2tog. Purl to last 2 sts. K2tog.
3rd row: As 1st row.
4th row: K1. Purl to last st. K1.
Rep last 4 rows to 3 sts.
Next row: Work 3tog. Fasten off.
With flat seam and smooth yarn, sew Squares into 4 strips, having 5 squares in each strip. Sew strips tog.
Top and Bottom Edging:
With RS of work facing and circular needle, pick up and knit 175 sts along top or bottom of Blanket. Knit 4 rows. Cast off (WS).
Side Edging:
With RS of work facing and circular needle, pick up and knit 210 sts along side of Blanket. Knit 4 rows. Cast off (WS).
