Easiest Ever Fingerless GlovesSport wt or lighter yarn Knitting needles to work to gauge of 6 st/in Cast on 48 st. Work in k2, p2 ribbing for 3" or desired length. Change to st st. Work 4" or desired length for hand. Bind off. Fold in half lengthwise and sew side seam, leaving open for thumb from 1/2" above ribbing to 1-1/2" below top. To divide for fingers, sc around top edge, attaching front to back of hand between fingers with trc or picot. Or, if you're *really* in a hurry, you can leave the top open, but it won't stay in place very well that way.
